After the 2016 US Presidential Election, Street Artist Matthew “Levee” Chavez created an installation called The Subway Therapy Wall, where thousands of citizens voiced their thoughts and feelings by writing and sharing them creating a wall of post it notes at the 14th Street Subway Station in NYC. The wall keeps growing with every note that gets posted, just like Chavez suspected, “New yorkers need a place to vent their emotions”.
Thousands of sticky notes came down on Friday, Dec, 16, 2016 marking the end of one of the most significant public expressions of emotion in response to the presidential election results. This is a tribute to the Artist and all who have posted their thoughts on this wall.
