For a week (06/06/-13/2018) we were able to explore new modes of collaborative arts production. The environments at Rancho 2&2 provided us with incentives to elaborate situations and characters that were being reveled to us as we filmed.
The team: Dancers/Choreographers: Rocio Luna, Natalia Reza and Djahel Vinaver; Male Rosita: Yunuén Mejía Almonte; Cinematographer: Ana Baer; Second camera: Joaquín López Chas; Musicians: Yunuén and Irepan Mejía Almonte; Sound Design: Joaquín López Chas; Still Photography: Stephanie Yañez Esquivel
The notion of Magic Realism kept appearing in the images. The best part of the residency were the discussions about life, art, family and politics, as well as the occasional Mezquila.
